Just wanted to post a few new pics and talk about all the rave here in Des Moines! Shawn Johnson is Iowa's pride and joy and is making us proud in Beijing! I had to post a patriotic song on my playlist~ I always get a little sentimental this time of year- end of summer- and thoughts of 9-11 and people who lost loved ones! I know we are truly blessed!

The late John and Ruth Girling Grandkids. The first time Hunter and Hope got to meet their Girling cousins from Michigan and Virginia was fall 2006. Hopefully we can all congregate again soon!

Sadly we lost our dear Grandma Weigel this past spring, but on a good note, it was the first time our entire family was able to get together at once.
